No Compromises.
From the beginning, the Arcus has been designed as a self-launching two-seater without compromises. Flying it as a glider, the extra-weight of the powerful 70 hp engine goes practically unnoticed by the pilot. The Arcus M impresses by its high performance and agile, harmonic gliding characteristics. The Arcus also impresses when using its engine, displaying a phenomenally short take-off distance and an impressive climb rate.
Great Handling.
Three-layered Schempp-Hirth air brakes allow short and precise landing approaches. Taxiing is child’s play as the rudder-integrated tail wheel supports simple and precise steering.
Simple Operation.
Engine start-up is straightforward and easy thanks to the newly designed automatic. To engage the engine, the pilot only needs to switch on the ignition and press the start button once the engine has been fully extracted. The engine’s start setup is always optimized by a microprocessor to match the current environment.
Disengaging the engine is just as easy. After switching off the ignition on the Ilec engine control unit, the control unit automatically stops and fixes propeller in the correct upright position and the engine gets retracted.
