Careful: some Ventus c, Ventus-2a, Ventus-2b and Discus-2b with glass fiber undercarriage need another strut. It looks different but if you are not sure of which model you need, please contact Schempp-Hirth Spare Part.

Description
This item is in almost all modern Schempp-Hirth gliders. Some older gliders that have been modified also use it. Please look at the picture to be sure that this is the part you need.
This part is essential and not simple to change. As for all the part we are selling online, you need to ensure that the person doing the replacement is entitled to do it and has the skills to do so.

Main wheel axle
This is the axle for the main landing gear of almost all Discus, Discus-2, Ventus-2 and Ventus-3.
It is 215 mm long, including a M12x1,5 head (4 mm long) and a M12 screw thread (12 mm long).
Careful: some Ventus c, Ventus-2a, Ventus-2b and Discus-2b with carbon fiber undercarriage need another axle . If you are not sure, measure the axle that is currently used or contact Schempp-Hirth spare part.
You may also want to buy the 8 mm M12x1,5 castle nut which is used to secured the axle (See suggested products).

Landing gear retraction lever
This is part, with the fork, of the landing gear retraction system of the Discus, Discus-2, Ventus and Ventus-2 (except for the Ventus-2cxa and for all the fuselages "a"). It is also used for the Nimbus-2, -3 and -4 single seater and for the mini-Nimbus.
This mechanism also requires a steel bushing and an axle which are sold separately.

Single seater horiz. tailplane sealing for all Discus-2, Ventus-2 and the Ventus-3 performance
This sealing is critical to limit the ageing of the horizontal tailplane fixation mechanisms. We advise you to renew it every couple of years.
The form is 94,98 x 370,00 mm. It is designed for the Discus, Ventus-2c and Ventus-3 Performance. It may also be possible to adapt it for older gliders. If you prefer, you can make the form yourself using a Tesa Foam roll.

Bellows V6-905 for the fin tank
This rubber boot ensures the sealing of the tail ballast of most of the Schempp-Hirth gliders.
It is advisable to replace it every 2-3 years to avoid water leaks.Its dimensions are 72 x 38 mm.
