This is the original Schempp-Hirth tailwheel. It is used in almost all gliders except for the steerable wheel of the Ventus-2cM, Quintus, Arcus M and Ventus-3 Performance.
Two models are available. This one does not contain leid and weights 0,930 kg. The other model is golden-coloured and can weight 2,6 or 3,6 kg. Please, order the model that is already on your glider or do a new weight and balance measurement.

Another model, without lead, black and weighting 0,930 kg is available. Please, order the model that is already on your glider or do a new weight and balance measurement.

Steerable tailwheel "Max II" 200x50
This wheel is made by Tost for the tail of the Arcus M, Ventus-3M and the Quintus M.
It is made in two parts, and it is adapted for a 12 mm axle and 200 x 50 tyres and tubes. In aluminium, silver anodized, it weights less than a kilo.

Steerable tailwheel TOST Mini 150x30
This tailwheel Max "X/S" is designed for the Ventus-2cM and it is available as an option for the Ventus-3 Sport. It is 150x30 mm and filled with foam.
This model it isn't adapted to the Ventus_2cM carbon fork so if the wheel currently in place is less than 150 mm, please contact Schempp-Hirth spare-part service.

Tailwheel axle
This axle is adapted to the most used Schempp-Hirth tailwheels: the original 200x50 with or without led.
It does not fit the steerable tail wheel of the Arcus M and the Ventus-3M. For these gliders, you must use the reference B40-2946.
It is 98 mm long and 17 mm in diameter.
It is sold with the safety ring-spring (L01-0663).
A washer, that can be necessary on some gliders, is sold as an option.
