This Master Cylinder Model 7 is used on the older Duo Discus and Nimbus-4D aircraft equipped with 30-9 brakes.

This system is used for the Ventus-2 and the Discus-2 which are using the 5" Cleveland wheel from TOST and with a “Magura” cylinder brake.

This drive funnel is used on almost all Schempp-Hirth gliders except the Nimbus-4 and the Ventus-3.

Two lock nuts M 6-8, DIN 985 and a lock nut M6 TRELOC, DIN 439 are included. However, your glider has a specific set of distance washer that are not provided. Please before disassemble the funnel make sure you know which washer go where.

On the Ventus-2 and Discus-2c, you may also need a set of screws that can be baught as an option.

This threaded rod is M8 and 186mm long.

It is use for the trim of the Duo Discus, Duo Discus xL, Arcus, Nimbus-4D and Nimbus-4DL. The system on the Arcus edition 2020 is different.

This gaz strut is 210N and it is used for the landing gear on the Arcus and Duo Discus XL. 

Important: It is not adapted for Beringer wheels.

Two models exist. The pivot ball was first associated with a M5 screw, before beeing replace by a M6 screw in 2015. Please measure the diameter of the screw on the part that you are currently using, and order the same.

An assembly jig for the tension pneumatic spring can be added as an option. If you don't have one, we advise you to buy it.

This system is used for the Ventus-2 and the Discus-2 which are using the 5" Cleveland wheel from TOST and with a “Magura” cylinder brake.

Polyflex-hose is 1004 CK and it is 1080mm.

This 150N gas strut is used for the Mini-Nimbus airbreaks.

 

This 200N gas strut is in the airbrake box. It connects the airbrake rod to the actuating lever of the trailing edge flap for the Duo Discus X and xL as well as the Nimbus-3D, -4 and -4D.

An older version used a gas spring from the company Hahn, you can use this one instead.

This part can be adapted to fit the Duo Discus, Duo Discus X, Duo Discus XL, as well as the Arcus, Arcus Edition 2020, and Nimbus-4D.

It measures approximately 147 mm in width and 157 mm in length.

Please note that the part is sold in an untrimmed form, so you will need to cut it to ensure a proper fit for your glider.

These brake linings (Tost P/N 080949) are designed for the BZT2 brake assembly installed after 2017 with a thread M10x1. It is not compatible with the model with a thread NPT See drawing.

The BZT2 system is compatible with 5″ and 6″ disc brake wheels from the Penta and Classic series. It is commonly installed on the Ventus-3 and Arcus edition 2020 models.

Please note that different braking systems have been used over time, and several Technical Notices (TN) have been approved. Carefully inspect your brakes before ordering to ensure you select the correct brake pad.

This part is used for the notching of the flaps of the Ventus-2b.

It is 135 mm long and the screw holes are spaced 50 and 69 mm apart respectively.

This comprehensive kit ensures compatibility with all Duo Discus equipped with a master cylinder model 7 / brakes 30-9. It provides the necessary components for a smooth brake cable replacement.

The cable comes with a standard 5.5 mm nipple, which fits most modern gliders that have a 6.2 mm handle hole. For older models or those with larger handle holes, an additional nipple is included, suitable for handles with an 8.5 mm hole.

The kit includes:

• 4000 mm of 1,8 mm cable
• 1 x Nicopress oval sleeve (1.5-2 mm, NT281C-A)
• 1 x 2 mm thimble
• 1 x Nipple No. 33A
• 1 x Nipple support No. 21A (8 x 9 mm)

This sealing lid is for the Arcus edition 2020.

It is equipped of a non-return valve.
