BWS Electric Winch for double seaters by Laminar Aerotec
This system is fast, reliable and easy to install in your glider.
The main features are:
- Short cleaning time of approx. 15 seconds per wing (even at high speeds).
- Simultaneous cleaning with both bug wipers possible.
- Three safety features: rope tension sensor, slip clutch and automatic shutdown on overload.
- Tear-resistant Dyneema line (retrieval line).
- Span adjustment (optionnal, please contact us).
- It is sold here with the mounting type 1, the most versatil one. However, if you want to install the winch near the feet of the backseat pilot, you may want to look also to the mounting plate Nr. 3 and Nr. 4.
It is delivered with:
- 2 x BWS electric winches in the box
- 2 x mounting plate no. 1
- 2 x Double switch for instrument panel mounting
- Installation kit double seater
- Installation and operating manuals

The "heavy" Schempp-Hirth tailwheel
200x50 with lead
This is the Schempp-Hirth tailwheel, with lead.
This wheel is used in almost all gliders except for the steerable wheel of the Ventus-2cM, Quintus, Arcus M and Ventus-3 Performance. Thanks to removable lead, it can weigh 2,6 or 3,6 kg.
Another model, without lead, black and weighting 0,930 kg is available. Please, order the model that is already on your glider or do a new weight and balance measurement.
