This cable is commonly used for rudder control. Please refer to your maintenance manual to confirm the correct cable type and connection method.

Water filler cap top
This plug is 5 mm high and its diameter is 36 mm. It fit all the Ventus 2, Discus 2, Nimbus 3, Duo Discus and the first Arcus.
Dependant on the glider, older Ventus and Discus can need this model or a 35 mm diameter sealing cap that is 7,5 mm high. Please look at your current model to order the same. If you need the thick sealing cap, you can order it through Schempp-Hirth spare-part form.
For a clean fit, the cover should be adjusted by grinding the profile contour.

Copper mesh wire tube
This braided hose is KAG 3,11 QMM VSN 36 x 11 x 0,10.
It is used with the transparent hose NW 4,8x1,6 (T20-0064485) for the fuel sytem of almost all Turbo, the Ventus-2cM and the Nimbus-4DM.
It is sold by the meter.
Be aware that for Turbo gliders another mesh wire tube KAG 1,32 QMM 24x7x0,1 (ref: L07-0319) is used at the level of the T-connection.

Brass bushing for lower rudder framework fin of the Discus-2, Ventus-2, Ventus-3 Sport, Duo Discus and some Arcus
This brass bushing is part of the lower framework of the rudder fin on Ventus-2, Discus-2, Ventus-3 sport, all Duo Discus and Arcus (except Arcus M).
Careful: on rare cases, gliders need a slightly larger head: 2 mm instead of 1 mm (see picture). Please look carefully at your actual part to buy the same model. If you need the 2 mm version, please contact us.
On older gliders the diameter of the head is 14mm instead of 16mm. See bellow the suggested products.

This sealing is critical to limit the ageing of the horizontal tailplane fixation mechanisms. We advise you to renew it every couple of years.
Description: Tesa foam 9 x 4 mm, 10 m by roll.
For a simple installation, you can instead buy premade form that can be easily adapted to single seater and double seater.

Single seater horiz. tailplane sealing for Ventus-3 Sport
This sealing is critical to limit the ageing of the horizontal tailplane fixation mechanisms. We advise you to renew it every couple of years.
The form is 94,98 x 370,00 mm. It is designed for the Discus-2a, -2b and the Ventus-3 Sport. It may also be possible to adapt it for older gliders. If you prefer, you can make the form yourself using a Tesa Foam roll.
