Pair of safety springs to secure l'hotellier connectors for gliders with manual control hookups.

The EASA Form 1 is included when needed.

This system is used for the Ventus-2 and the Discus-2 which are using the 5" Cleveland wheel from TOST, with a “Magura” cylinder brake.

The brake cable measures 555 mm in length and features a 6 x 10 mm nipple.

 

 

This pair of leg springs is used for the Arcus, Duo Discus xL and Ventus-2cx.

Each spring is 101,5 mm long and 21 mm large.

It is used in the trim system of the Arcus, Duo Discus, Nimbus-4, and Nimbus-4D gliders, in the rear position, with two springs installed per glider.

Rod end bearing with a KA-6-DC2 head (askubal) and M8 x 50 length body.

This rubber boot ensures the sealing of the tail ballast of most of the Schempp-Hirth gliders.
It is advisable to replace it every 2-3 years to avoid water leaks.

Its dimensions are 72 x 38 mm.

This tension spring is used to maintain the flap handle on the right position. 

On the Janus B and Nimbus-2, it is located near the front seat handle.

Originally, the Janus C, the Nimbus-3D and the Nimbus-4D are using another spring that looks very different (ref B40-2417) and that is located on the back seat cockpit wall. However some gliders have been modified and they are now using this flat spring but near the spar bridge.

This flexible rubber boot is 63 x 39x 39 mm with a 10 mm and a 25 mm opening.

It is surrounding the ballast rod on the wing root of the Discus b, Ventus-2 (SN < 561), Discus-2a and Discus-2b (SN< 234) which have been produced before June 2009. However, some of these gliders might have been retrofitted with the newer system. You can see on the suggested product the other bellow.

It is used for the ballast system of the Nimbus-3, -3D, -4 and -4D. For the Nimbus, the bellow may need to be adapted by cutting the larger end.

It is also used as a sealing around the brake line when crossing the wheel box in all single seaters.

 

This rubber boot is surrounding the water ballast control rod to avoid the water leaking through. It is used in several Schempp-Hirth gliders including the Nimbus-2, Ventus, Ventus-2c, Discus-2c, Duo Discus and the Arcus.

It is 125 x 22 x 22 mm with a 7 mm and a 16 mm opening.

Over the years, other bellows and different combinations have been used. You can find them underneath this description, in the "suggested products", if you want to compare them with the model that you wish to replace.

This sealing cap is made for the Ventus-3 inner wing.

Please note that the first seven Ventus-3 are equipped with a different system.

This hose is 2200 mm long.

It is used for the Duo Discus x und xL as well as the first Arcus which are using the 5" Classic wheels from TOST with a Magura cylinder brake.

Please note, this cable is not compatible with the first-generation Duo Discus or the Arcus edition 2020, which are equipped, respectively, with master cylinder model 7 / brakes 30-9 and the BZT2 TOST brake system.

This sealing cap is made for the Ventus-3 outer wing.

The plug used for the inner wing is different. You can find it below in the suggested items.

Please note that the first seven Ventus-3 are equipped with a different system.

This Polyflex brake hose fits the classic Duo Discus equipped with master cylinder model 7 and 30-9 brakes.

The hose length is 600 mm.

Depending on your glider configuration, you may also require two adapters, which can be found under recommended products (references: L07-1346 and L07-0406).

This set of gasket can replace the on the main brake cylinder form 6 or 7. It is very likely that this type of cylinder is installed in the Duo Discus (but not in the x or xL), some Nimbus-4(D), as well as in some retrofitted Nimbus and Janus.

It do not work with the rectangular brake cylinder installed on some gliders (Ref: B40-1014). 

This rubber boot surrounds the upper part of the elevator rope.

It is 70 mm long and 75 mm large and the diameters of the openings are 65 and 18 mm.
