A short review.

AERO 2025, which took place from 9-12 April, has come to an end. Four days full of interesting discussions, great impressions and new and old faces lie behind us.

It was a successful Expo for us, where we were able to present a few of our new products.

The Ventus E with the ‘Performance’ fuselage made its debut there, as did the Arcus with some revised and new features. We were also able to announce the comeback of the Discus-2, which is planned for 2026.

The Ventus E in the ‘Performance’ edition comes with a more spacious fuselage. This not only offers more space for the pilot, but also for the batteries. It allows us to use larger batteries with approx. 30% more power in this aircraft, which is expected to enable a climb altitude of up to 3000 metres. Like the Ventus E in the ‘Sport’ edition, the EP will also be equipped with a new display from Sotecc, which simplifies battery management and enables control of the (also newly introduced) electric water ballast system and the bugwipers. The display also includes a modern electronic fuse management system, giving the instrument panel a very tidy appearance.

Our Arcus will also be equipped with an electric water ballast system and the Sotecc display in the future. It will also be equipped with internal engine flap hinges and a clever redundancy system for manual operation.

All Discus pilots can also rejoice: from 2026, the Discus will once again have a place in our production programme! With aerodynamic revisions and features from our current models, the classic will be brought up to date with the latest developments. As a highlight, the Discus will of course also get new Maughmer winglets. All this as a club package at a fixed price including standard instrumentation and trailer.

However, our stand not only had aircraft to offer, but also provided space for other exhibitors. For example, Kiripotib Soaring, who served the world's best coffee to everyone every day, Sotecc, who presented their latest equipment, and Bitterwasser Lodge, who invited visitors to take a (flying) holiday to Namibia. Garrecht and Air Avionics also presented their latest devices.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the visitors who made this expo so special and visited us in such large numbers - we had a lot of fun!

We are already looking forward to the next AERO in 2027!
