Congratulations to Phil Jones on the right ( Ventus-3T) and Mike Young on the left (Arcus-M) the winners of the UK 18m and 20m National Championships!
Phil and Mike have been British teammates at previous international competitions but this is the first time that they have won national titles together at the same venue.
Phil's brother Steve Jones (Arcus M) was second in the 20m flying with Alister Kay whilst his other brother Howard Jones was 7th in the 18m flying the Ventus-3E. To keep the family link going we should mention that Howard's father-in-law Chris Curtis was in the winning Arcus with Mike Young! Another loyal member of the Schempp "family", Derren Francis, (Ventus-3T) won two days in the 18m and finished 5th whilst Matt Cook (Arcus T) completed the podium in the 20m in 3rd place.
