Mario Kissling won the Sailplane Grand Prix in Italy with his Ventus 3T.
The Grand Prix, which was held at the beginning of June, took place in Varese in northern Italy. On a total of five days, a total of twenty pilots fought for the two qualification places for the Grand Prix finals next year, which will also be held in Italy. Mario Kissling was able to take a total of two daily victories with the Ventus 3T and went into the final race on the last day tied on points with the Italian Alberto Sironi. In the end, Mario Kissling was able to win the last flight with a lead of four (!) seconds - and thus also the Grand Prix.
