The Ventus E Performance takes off for the first time, impressively showcasing the power of our electric propulsion system: strong, efficient, and remarkably quiet.
On a golden autumn day, Tuesday, November 18 our first Ventus E with the Performance fuselage took to the skies for its maiden flight – and impressed from the very first second. Just like the sport version, the Ventus E Performance is truly captivating: it takes off after an impressively short run and climbs into the sky with powerful ease – accompanied by a pleasant, gentle whirring sound.
While the first tests were completed with ease – just as expected – some spectators watched the action with visible enthusiasm. The high battery capacity was particularly impressive: it not only made the first tests possible, but also allowed for an extended demonstration flight with an extensive photo session in front of the local backdrop of the Teck. Despite the cool temperatures, the spectators remained fascinated until the very end.
After the successful tests, the mood could hardly be better. Now the test flights for the type certification of the Ventus-3 E Performance are beginning, so that series production can start as planned in early 2026. We are convinced that this system will enable unforgettable flying experiences in the popular Performance version – thanks to high power reserves, intuitive operation, and the new freedom to take off independently and almost silently.
The Ventus E thus offers true freedom of flight: its quiet, clean drive allows takeoffs early in the morning or late in the evening without disturbing others—for maximum flexibility and unlimited flying fun.
