Pneumatic tension spring for the Duo Discus x and xL airbrake

This 300N gas strut is located in the fuselage. It connects to the airbrake drive shaft in the Duo Discus x and xL.

If the airbrakes become very hard to operate, it may be that this gas strut needs to be replaced.
